Christie Brinkley and Smile Train – Giving Back

One of the things we all love about Christie Brinkley is her desire to give back to society.  She believes “giving back and making a difference are the quickest ways to buff up your inner beauty”, a key component of true beauty.

“Each time you reach out to help, you are exercising your heart muscles in the most beautiful way.”

One of the many wonderful causes that Christie Brinkley is passionate about is Smile Train, a global non-profit organization dedicated to helping the 170,000 children around the world who are born with a cleft lip and/or palate to receive the life-altering surgery that their families may not be able to afford. Smile Train provides free cleft repair surgeries to those in need, while helping to train local doctors. After surgery, these children will be able to eat, breathe, speak properly, and smile.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Christie launched the Ageless Beauty Set, a limited edition anti-aging skin care kit from the Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare line. From March until the end of 2016, Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare will donate 20% of the proceeds from each set sold to Smile Train.

Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare Smile Train SpecialThe two-piece beauty set includes the Uplift + IR Defense Firming Neck & Décolleté Cream, a luxurious, fast-working cream that helps firm, smooth, brighten and rejuvenate the look of the delicate skin of the neck and chest, and Refocus Under Eye Treatment, a potent anti-aging serum infused with a Bio-Copper Complex that visibly reduces under-eye puffiness and dark circles.

Christie Brinkley has been working with Smile Train as a Goodwill Ambassador for nearly 10 years to raise awareness of the issues faced by children living with unrepaired clefts.

I use your skin care products. I was born with a cleft lip and have tried many ways to be able to join a team. Any connections you might have would be appreciated! My mother was Miss Virginua in the Miss America contest and she was not thrilled with a “ugly baby”!

I use Christy Brinkley’s products and I love them. Your cleft lip doesn’t get to define you, although I can sense the pain it must have caused you. I hope you are wrong about your mother, but if you are not, then it is her loss. I hope and pray you can get your issues rectified as soon a humanly possible so you can move on to other things in life. All the best.
