An Attitude of Gratitude

You’ve heard it before – Attitude is everything.  Gratitude can play a huge part in our attitude toward life, and most often a grateful heart is a happy heart.Grateful for being

Practice

Practicing gratitude is a habit that requires just that – practice.  You may have heard of keeping a gratitude journal, where you write down three things each day that you are grateful for.  Putting words to paper can have great power, and the habit of writing down appreciative thoughts can really help to fill your life with gratitude.  Don’t have the discipline to write three things down each night?  Just reflecting on your day and thinking of a few things you are grateful for can make a big change.  Doing this during your evening beauty routine can be a soothing way to end the day.  Reflecting on thoughts of gratitude while applying Christie’s RECAPTURE 360 Night Anti-Aging Night Treatment and REFOCUS Under Eye Treatment can be the perfect, quiet end to your day.  (Perhaps the improvements that Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare offers are some of the things you are grateful for!)

There’s an App for That

If you’re the type of person who checks their phone each morning and evening, why not get one of the many gratitude apps designed to help you write down those thoughts of gratitude?  With most people’s phones always nearby, you’ll never need to find your journal (or a pen!)

Picturing Gratitude

Another idea is to use your camera phone to develop an attitude of gratitude!  Take a photo each day to document something that made you happy that day.  Before you know it you will be looking back at a year of happiness, and you will grow more grateful for the happy moments in your life.
